Who We Are

EquipUS is a community-based project whose main objective is to provide facilitation, training and team building services to those groups that put people at the centre.

A local service, with a human and close accompaniment, focused on objectives that improve working teams.

We offer a human, close and adapted service tailored to each reality. We don’t work with closed solutions: we listen, co-create and facilitate tailor-made days and processes. Our own activities, charming spaces and collaborations with local professionals are part of our way of working.

We can develop experiences in unique settings (rural houses, natural facilities, wineries…), at your premises or wherever your gathering takes place. We also offer hybrid formats and recurring plans to support the growth of teams over time.

Our goal is not to organise one-off activities, but to generate meaningful experiences with real impact. Experiences that leave a mark and strengthen the bonds between people who work together.

EquipUS is a project driven by Descoberta, a company with a long track record in the field of participation and community facilitation, as well as cultural, educational and leisure management. www.descoberta.catwww.acciocomunitaria.comFrom this experience in education, culture and collective processes, TakeYourTeam was also born: a digital channel aimed at facilitating access to team building through an open platform, structured around “formulas” (activity + space + meals), easy to book and adapted to the possibilities of each organisation.www.takeyourteam.comEquipUS, for its part, is the territorial and relational commitment. A service designed for groups that value proximity, care, and personalised accompaniment in team improvement processes. We focus on the “how” more than the “what”, and we prioritise meaning, experience and internal transformation.

EquipUS activities are aimed at companies, public administrations or associations of any size. Participants are employees or collaborators. During a team building or training day with EquipUS, it is just as valuable to bring together teams that are used to working together as it is to gather teams that only work together occasionally on specific projects.

Therefore, it can be used for:
  • Teams that work on the same projects with different roles.
  • Teams that have the same function but work at different locations.
  • Teams that work on the same projects, with different roles but at different locations.
  • Teams that work on the same projects but have no personal connection because they are highly compartmentalised.
  • Teams from different companies or organisations that need to carry out a joint task.

Contrary to what is often thought, it is important to bear in mind that all groups that develop projects together can take part in this type of activity, and that they are not only intended for certain types of large companies or those with highly hierarchical structures.

Cohesion dynamics

Group cohesion is the strength of the interpersonal connection existing between the members of a group. These are two to four hour activities that promote:

  • Getting to know others
  • Acceptance of diversity
  • Group empowerment

Shared experiences

These are activities where an unknown or unique experience is lived and shared with other members of the same group.
  • Cultural: Discovery of the cultural and historical heritage of a territory or artistic practice in any of its formats.
  • Wine and gastronomy: Activities that allow the discovery of the world of wine, or where team cohesion is fostered through culinary learning.
  • Sport: Activities where, through an individual or team sport, a place is discovered while team spirit and healthy practice are encouraged.
  • Nature: Activities for discovering natural spaces, enjoying the outdoors, learning about the environment and reinforcing the concept of sustainability and respect for the natural world.

Social responsibility

These are group activities that seek positive change in the context in which we live through actions related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), making social responsibility a shared commitment between the company or organisation and its members through the development of their CSR.
  • Sustainability and environmental actions: Actions that have a positive impact on the natural environment.
  • Social actions: Actions developed to improve the wellbeing of people.
Actions can be one-off or recurring, active or reflective, and form part of an annual internal CSR plan of the company.

Team learning

“Team learning” or joint team training is a type of training for companies or organisations carried out by a group at the same time and with the same content. It can be done by:
  • All members of the company or organisation.
  • A specific department.
  • A group carrying out a joint task.
This type of training seeks to achieve the following objectives:
  • Improves the competitiveness of individuals.
  • Encourages teams to work in greater alignment.
  • Fosters cohesion within the team.
We have a wide and diverse range of spaces in which to develop the days. Each one has its own unique character and is adapted to the activities taking place:
  • Colony houses: Simple, affordable, spacious spaces in natural settings. Accommodation available.
  • Rural houses: Farmhouses and charming houses that preserve traditional elements and offer all modern comforts. Accommodation available.
  • Farmsteads: Farms and farmhouses without accommodation where tasks related to organic farming and livestock, as well as discovery of the natural environment, take place.
  • Wineries: Wine estates where visitors can explore the vineyards and discover the winemaking process combined with other activities.
  • Activity-linked spaces: Equestrian centres, marinas or other spaces where the activity is directly linked to the venue, but which also offer the full range of services.
  • Other spaces: Unique locations where EquipUS training sessions and activities can be carried out.
At EquipUS, in addition to days with different Team Building dynamics, we offer different ways to experience teamwork, according to the needs of each team or organisation:FORMATS
  • Online sessions: Allows team dynamics and other service formats to be adapted to non-face-to-face meetings, using different digital resources.
  • Activities at your venue: Making team cohesion possible without long journeys or logistical complications, or taking advantage of a meeting, congress or event where a space is already available.
  • Situational days: Accompanying the team through stages of change or transition with spaces for support, awareness and celebration.
  • Collaborative onboardings: Strengthening the bonds between people and organisations that will need to collaborate, fostering trust, transparency and a shared relational framework from the very first moment.
  • Implementation of digital tools for cohesion: Enhancing the use of digital tools for the cohesion and improvement of working teams.
